Andre Boulerice
André Boulerice (May 8th 1946 -) is a Politician Québécois and a homosexual militant . He was the deputy of Holy-Marie-Saint-Jacques to Montreal.
Native of Joliette, it obtains a diploma in specialist education with the Cégep of the Old man Montreal. It joint with the Left Québécois in 1970. Boulerice works thereafter in the school, in the school commission of Chambly.
He is elected in the district of Holy-Marie-Saint-Jacques in 1989, where Claude Charron had been elected. Re-elected in 1994, 1998 and 2003, he in particular was associated leader of the government and Québécois president of the parliamentary Assemblée of the Francophonie, like provincial Minister for immigration.
Its part of major legislation is the introduction of the Civil union for the homosexual couples. Boulerice resigned in September 2005.
