In the search of time play (he will have played only 5 matches in Corsica) he leaves for Metz. He will be unfortunately disappointed, since he will not have more time of play and must be satisfied with a role of substitute. He will play 7 matches of D1 at the time of his first year, as well as a match of UEFA. Resigned to its role of lining, it makes two replacements in 2001, and regresses in the hierarchy to finish third guard of the ASM. In 2006, at 36 years, for his last season, the trainer Monegasque of the time Francesco Guidolin pays homage to him by inserting it in the place Flavio Roma in the 5 last minutes of the last match of L1 of the season. Touched and surprised by this gesture, it agrees to become the trainer of the guards of the ASM, posts that it occupies still today. It currently passes its DEPF.
