André Bettencourt is a journalist, business man and French politician born the April 21st 1919 with Saint-Maurice-in Ételan (Seine-Maritime) and dead the November 19th 2007 with Neuilly-sur-Seine. He was member of the government under the presidencies of Rene Coty, Charles de Gaulle and Georges Pompidou.
Biography
André Bettencourt is born in an old middle-class family catholic Norman, downward of the navigator Jean de Béthencourt. His/her father, Victor, are lawyer with the Court of Appeal of Paris and general adviser of the Seine-Lower . In 1986, it is very briefly quoted as possible Prime Minister of François Mitterrand within the framework of the first government of Cohabitation because of their old friendship
