Andre Bösiger

Andre Bösiger , (born the July 22nd 1913 with Perrefitte; died with Geneva the April 13rd 2005) is militant a anarchistic trade unionist Suisse.

Biography

Workman of the building, it adheres to the Ligue of Action of the Building industry where it binds friendship with the anarchists Luigi Bertoni (writer of the Anarchistic Réveil ) and Lucien Tronchet.

The Ligue of Action of the Building industry actively practiced the Sabotage and the direct action as well as the assistance with the expelled unemployed of their residences.

It also militates in the anarchistic group of Geneva and takes part in the activities of the Libre-Pensée.

The November 9th 1932, it takes part in a demonstration joining together between 6000 or 7000 people to protest against the behavior of a meeting Fasciste organized by Georges Oltramare with Geneva. The demonstration finishes tragically. The Swiss army, charged to reinforce the police force in the operations of “maintenance of law and order”, puts in position fire and shoots at crowd. According to the official results, thirteen people find death and 65 others are wounded. Nickel silver Allemann, his/her best friend, crumbles mortally wounded.

Condemned for insubordination to the army, it purges a two years of prison sorrow.

During the War of Spain, it gets weapons with the companions of CNT and ensures the assumption of responsibility of orphans.

Laid off for “trade-union activity”, he becomes poacher, then supplies at the time of the Second world war the maquis of French resistance.

In 1957, it takes part in the foundation of the International Center of Research on Anarchism (WAXED) Geneva.

During the War of Algeria, it lodges freedom fighters and of the unsubmissive people of the French Army
