Andre Arbus
André Arbus was an architect, decorator and sculptor of the 20th century, born with Toulouse on November 17th 1903, died in 1969.
It belongs to an old family of Toulouse cabinetmakers.
Biography
It will étudira at the School of Beautiful arts of Toulouse and since 1925 it takes part in the International exhibition, then regularly, with the Living rooms of the Artists Decorators and of Fall.In 1932 it settles in Paris, receives the Blumenthal Stock Exchange and makes an Exposure particular to the Gallery of the Four Ways.
To the International exhibition of 37, it presents “a residence in Ile de France”, “the house of a French family”, a restaurant with the movable Regional center and several units.
Apart from important participations in the Living rooms of the Decorators and the Exposures, it presents into 39, the French section with the International exhibition of New York,
since 1950, it exposes its works of sculptor to the Living rooms of Tileries and Fall.
