André is a group of music folk/indie/rock originating in Montreal, Quebec.

Biography

Within the group Andre, nobody is called André…

At the beginning, André is only one specific project aiming at creating original musics for a student film. The experiment being conclusive, Maxime Philibert and Louis Therrien-Galasso decide to answer their own orders, and combine derision with their pretty melodies.

With the end of the year 2001, Frédérick St-Onge, an old friend, joint with the group which occurs regularly on the scenes montréalaises.

In October 2003, they launch a first mini-album, In the basement of Carlos, carried out by Eric Goulet (Dogs, Vincent Vallières, Yann Perreau), who at the head finds prize lists of the university and Community radios of Quebec.

To the autumn 2005, the trio become quartet launches a first complete album - Last Models of the male mode - which receives a reception than cordial more media covering the emergent scene.

Spring 2006, the things accelerate for André thanks to the vagueness Yolande Wong which breaks on Quebec.

Summer 2006, André proves that it is more than the man of a song whereas it from now on success Seaside resort brightens the waves radios.
