Andre-Pierre Contandriopoulos (born in 1943 with Dieulefit, Drome, France) is full professor in administration of the Santé at the Medical college of the Université of Montreal and member of the royal Société of Canada.

Its public research and its interventions largely contributed has to influence the public system of health of the Quebec. In particular, its work on the financing of the care and the importance to preserve a public and universal system of Health insurance often were in the middle of the public debates on this topic. Its interventions gave place to vigorous exchanges with the partisans of privatization in health, and in particular Claude Castonguay.
