Andre-Jacques Holbecq
Andre-Jacques Holbecq , born on August 13rd, 1942, is engaged in various movements altermondialists, primarily as author of a proposal of alternative economic system, Écosociétalisme, is developed on the basis of concept of societalism of which he is also the author.
Course
Andre-Jacques Holbecq begins an university course (economy and accountancy) with the Faculty of Law of Lille, but decides to benefit from the possibilities offered by the ALAT (Light Aviation of the Army) where it obtains his diploma for the occupation of pilot at the time of a military service as called. He is engaged with Air France in 1968 and finishes his career in 1993 as pilot on Concorde.
As from the years 1990, and parallel to its career of pilot, it is interested in the economy and writes its first book in 2002 ( a glance citizen on the economy ). He continues a reflection thereafter leading to a proposal for an alternative economic model to the capitalist system: ecosocietalism.

Holbecq is engaged in a sociological and economic reflection of what it named “the societalism”, relatively near to the “ distributism . ”

By estimating that the Nation must begin again, as a right Régalien, that to emit the currency without interests which it needs for its development.

By recommending the immediate introduction in France of a complementary currency financing the introduction of a Complementary Economic space said Sociétal (complementary to the existing economic system), whose originality or vocation is not the research of countable balance or the financial profit but that of the “benefit sociétal”.

One can mention recent interventions in 2007 at the time of a conference-debate with Philippe Derudder in Cahors on April 20th, 2007 on the topics of monetary creation and the national debt and Etienne Chouard on the currency in Aix in Provence on May 22nd, 2007, within the framework of the debates " Repaire" making following the emissions of Daniel Mermet " Over there if I there suis" .

Ummo business
Andre-Jacques Holbecq launched the ummo-sciences.org site and was mentioned in two letters of the business Ummo of which he is regarded as a specialist by the rr0.org site. A third recognized letter as false was directly addressed to him. It also prefaced a book on this subject.
