Andover is a city of the the United States, located in the Massachusetts, county of Essex, founded in 1642 and close to Danvers (Massachusetts).

The city extends on 80,3 km ², including/understanding 2,9 km ² water (3,49% of entire surface).

With the last census of 2000, the city counted 31.247 people, 11.305 hearths and 8.490 families. The population density rose with 144,3 personnes/km ².

Andover accommodates a famous preparatory school, the founded Philips Academy in 1778 whose, in particular, Humphrey Bogart, George H.W. Bush or George W. Bush was the pupils.
