Andonville is a common French, located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.

Geography

History

In 1749 a plan of the grounds and seigniories of Andonville, Puiselet, Richerelles, Formonvilliers is raised for the lord of these places, lord Anne Jean Baptiste Goislard, knight, adviser with the Parlement of Paris. Its single heiress is Anne Cornélie Francoise, wife of Charles Louis d' Aubin de Planoy, adviser at the Parliament of Paris.

It is a friend of the draftsman orléanais Thomas-Aignan Desfriches. In the biography of this last (by Mrs. Cuénin), one can see a beautiful image of the castle, which since was destroyed.

Personalities related to the commune

Anne-Jean-Baptist Goislard (1709-1772), lord of Yawned and Andonville, adviser to the Parliament of Paris. He had married on May 29th, 1739 Marie-Francoise Madeleine Charlotte Magneux (deceased in Andonville in 1785).
the painter and Miniaturist Jean Baptist Genty, raises Jacques-Louis David, born, about 1770, in Andonville (spelled, in several artistic dictionaries like Andouville).
Henri-Alexandre Tessier (1741-1837), doctor and agronomist, who, as familiar of the Goislard family, resided a long time at the castle of Andonville where it was devoted to various scientific experiments. It wrote an interesting article on the state of agriculture with Andonville about 1785 in the methodical Encyclopédie. Agriculture , volume I, article " Andonville" , p. 537-539 (Paris, Panckoucke, 1787).
