Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Pradesh (ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ in Télougou) is a State of the India of the South.
Andhra Pradesh has a legislative Parliament of 295 seats. The State has 60 members with the Indian National parliament: 18 in Rajya Sabha (Upper House) and 42 in Lok Sabha (Lower House). The AP is cut out in 25 administrative districts. The Prime Minister of the State is Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
History
The people of the zone are mentioned, for the first time, at the time of the death of the king maurya Ashoka, in 232 av. J. - C.. This date is regarded as the entry of Andhra in the History. Various dynasties reigned on the sector, among which the Andhra (or Satavahana ), the Shaka , the Ikshvaka , the Chalukya Eastern , the Royaume of Vijayanâgara, the Qutb Shahi , and the nizams (or princes) of Hyderabad. During the 17th century, the English buy with the nizams the coastal sector first of all (the province of Madras), then the interior region which is now Andhra Pradesh itself. Geography
It is bordered in the south by the Tamil Nadu, in the west by the Karnataka, in north and the North-West by the Maharashtra, in the North-East by the Madhya Pradesh, the Chhattisgarh and the Orissa and in the east by the Bay of Bengal.

The chief of the executive (Chief Minister) is Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, and the governor is Surjit Singh Barnala.

Economy
Agriculture is the primary source of income for the economy of the State. Two important rivers of India, the Godavari and the Krishna cross the State. The Rice, the Tobacco, the Cotton, the Mirchi and the Sucre of cane are the principal cultures. The AP is also a certain success in the field of information the Technologies and the Biotechnologie S.
Demography
Andhra Pradesh constitutes a mosaic of people to the very marked personality. The Kuchipudi is the traditional form of Danse of the State.
