Anders Hejlsberg

Anders Hejlsberg is a Programmeur Danish. In 1980 it started to write programs for the microcomputer Nascom; he in particular wrote a compiler Pascal which was sold under the name of Blue Label Pascal to compile for Nascom-2. He quickly rewrote it for CP/M and MS-DOS, and distributed under the name of Compass Pascal then of Poly Pascal .
After acquirebeing acquired by Borland, it was distributed under the name Turbo Pascal .

The repurchase by Borland of its software led Hejlsberg to be one of the founders of the Borland company in which it remained until in 1996.
It there continued the development of the Turbo Pascal and became project manager during the development of the language Delphi, successor of the Turbo Pascal .

In 1996 it left Borland to join Microsoft where it worked on the language J++ and Windows Foundation Classes. It directs today the team which created the C#.
