Anderitum
Anderitum Postea Gabali is the capital of the people of the Gabales (corresponding to the current areas of the Aubrac and the Gévaudan but concentrated on the department of the Lozere). This site became with the passing of years the village of Javols.
Toponymy: Anderitum contains the Celtic root rito meaning: rivet or ford.
Anderitum was a big step before passing to the people of the Rutènes based to Segodunum - Rodez via Adsilanum based on the Aubrac or at the entry of the valley of the Batch. By taking the distance between two Roman sites of the Gabale area: Lanuéjols and Javols connected by the same road, one obtains 46km is 20,7 miles Gallic. One can thus project some possible possible ways for the Andéritum section - AD-Silanum, then Segodunum, estimated at XVIII miles Gallic, is 40km
