The muscle anconé (of Latin Anconæus , to see the diagram) is a muscle located at the posterior face bends.

It fits:

  • in top on the posterior face of side épicondyle of the Os humérus
  • in bottom on the side face of the olécrane and the posterior face of the higher end of the Os ulna.

It moves from top to bottom and of outside in inside, just with the top of the ulnar Extensor of the carpus. It has a triangular form because its establishment on the ulna is broader than its insertion on the humérus.

It allows the extension of the front armlever on the arm and receives its in radial Nerf by the same branch as the Triceps brachial.
