Anchorite (butterfly)

The anchorite or wagtail fourchue is a Lépidoptère pertaining to Notodontidae.

  • Distribution: Europe until the Japan and the Korea.

  • Scale of the male: from 14 to 17 Misters
  • Period of flight: from April at August in two generations.
  • Habitat: wood.
  • Plant-hosts: Populus , Salix .
