Anaukpeitlun (literally " died in the ouest" in 1628) was a king of Burma beginning of the 17ère century. Grandson of the king Bayinnaung, it put an end to the anarchy which reigned since the death of his/her grandfather, reunified Burma and restores the power of the Dynastie Taungû under the name of " Nyaungyan" dynasty; , or " Dynasty Taungû restaurée".
Fls of Prince Nyaungyan of High-Burma, Anaukpeitlun launched an invasion of the Low-Burma, taking again Prome in 1607 and Taungû in 1610. Toungou was attacked in 1612 by the Siamese ones and the Portuguese based with Syriam. In reprisals, Anaukpeitlun put the seat in front of this city, then with the hands of the mercenary Philippe de Brito. It ends up taking it in September 1613, making crucifier Brito and reducing in slavery surviving Portuguese, as well as the Eurasians (named " bayingyi ", those were transferred in two villages close to Shwebo and formed a hereditary body artillerists with the service of the Burmese kings). ,
The forces of Anaukpeitlun invaded the Siam the same year, briefly occupying the Tenasserim, which they were néammoins obliged to give up the following year in front of a portugo-Siamese offensive. Anaukpeitlun continued to sit its capacity on Burma, but was finally assassinated in 1628 by one of its sons, which feared to be punished for a connection with one of the concubines of its father. His/her brother Thalun succeeded the following year to him (1629-1648).
