Anastacia

Anastacia Lyn Newkirk is a Chanteuse and more recently a Styliste born on September 17th, 1973 (or 1968, according to certain sources) with Chicago with the the United States. It sold more than 25 million discs from the exit of its first album Not that kind in 2000. One distinguishes the disease to him from Crohn at the 13 years age.

Not That Kind - beginnings

Anastacia was born with Chicago within a family from artists: his/her father was singer and his mother actress of musical comedies with Broadway. His/her parents divorce whereas it was only 3 years old and Anastacia has since never again considering his/her father. Its family then decides to move with New York whereas it is still teenager and it is the occasion for it to integrate “Professional Children' S School” of Manhattan. The artist has a big sister: Shawn and a younger brother: Bryan.

Anastacia is interested quickly in the dance. With the beginning of the year 1990 one regularly sees it in Club MTV like in some vidéos of the Salt-N-Pepa group. In 1999, it takes part in the finale of the emission The Cut on MTV the purpose of which is to discover new talents. In March 1999 it signs a contract with Daylight Records, label of Sony Music.

Its first album Not that kind leaves in 2000 and meets an immense success by being classified n°1 in eight country in Europe, Asia and Oceania. It is certified triple platinum in Australia carried by the success of its first individual I' m outta coils which will carry out the best sale of individual of the year in this country. The album Not that kind is a world success except with the the United States where it is classified only 168ème.

Freak off Natural

Its second album Freak off natural leaves in 2001, even if it does not reach the scores of the precedent it records very honourable sales all the same. First individual extracted, Paid the my due ones , is a tube in Europe.

In 2002 Anastacia joint with Expensive, Celine Dion, Shakira and Mary J. Blige for the concert Live Divas on chain VH1. This same year it is invited on the BO of the film Chicago where it interprets Love has crime . It is also selected to interpret the song of the football world cup: Boom . Three other individual will be extracted from Freak off natural : One day in your life , Why' D tou binds to me and You' L never Be alone .

Anastacia & Pieces off have Dream

Anastacia in January 2003 discovers that she suffers from a breast cancer. Its treatment is a success and it founds the " then; Breast Cancer Research Fund" for the prevention of the cancer risks of the center in the young women.

Anastacia enters in studio in September 2003 to record its new album sobrement entitled Anastacia. She works this time with Glen Ballard, Dallas Austin and Dave Stewart. The album leaves in 2004 preceded by tubesque the Left outside alone which starts a change in the musical universe of the young singer since this one is much more directed Rock. The album is n°1 in Great Britain, with the Netherlands, in Australia, Greece, Germany and Italy. Left outside alone is classified n°1 in Australia, in Italy, Austria and in Suisse, it forms even part of the five titles most diffused in radio in the world in April 2004. Paradoxically the album does not leave to the the United States.

Three other individual with success is extracted from the album: Sick and tired , Welcome to my truth and Heavy one my heart .

In 2005 it records Everything burns in duet with Ben Moody of the group Evanescence for the BO of the film the Four Fantastic .

In November of the same Anastacia year leaves its first best off, Pieces off has dream. This one contains all its individual like three new titles: Pieces off has dream , first individual extracted, I belong to you (It ritmo delle impassions) , in duet with Eros Ramazzotti, and In your eyes . The album also leaves in an limited edition deluxe with second CD comprising the remixes.

Anastacia LIVE AT LAST

March 27th, 2006 it leaves its first live DVD, Live At last, testimony of its three consecutive European rounds of 2004 to 2005 which is sold to several thousands of specimens in Europe.

Anastacia & fashion: Anastacia By S.Oliver

Anastacia launched out in the mode, in August 2006 with its own collection of clothing in collaboration with a German mark S.Oliver. Launchings took place successively in Germany the 17 (Hamburg & Cologne) & 18 (Munich & Vienna) August 2006.

March 29th, 2007 the collection spring/be of Anastacia by S.Oliver was " révélée" with the public by a fashion show with Berlin. The event was called the Have-Hotel, the decorations of the hotel Ritz, decorations of the photoshoot of the new photographs was reproduced on the spot. At the end of the procession a great evening (After show party) was carried out, fans, people, vip & Anastacia was part.
