Ananie

Ananie (+60) belonged to the Jews which adhered, in the whole beginnings of Christianity, with the faith in Jesus-Christ, recognizing it like the awaited Messiah. According to the Acts of the Apostles, it resided at Damas and it is him which introduced holy Paul within the Church and the Baptême conferred to him.

He is celebrated the January 25th, day when the Catholic church celebrates the memory of the conversion of saint Paul , undoubtedly because of the role which is allotted to him in the Acts of the Apostles.
