Amposta
Amposta is a city in the south-east of the Spain, in Catalogne, in the Province of Tarragone. Amposta is the capital of the Comarque de Montsià.
It is with 8 meters above the sea level, and on the Èbre not far from its mouth. The city counted: 18443 inhabitants on October 31st, 2003.
In 2003, the mayor was Joan Maria Roig I Grau, a member of Convergència I Unió (CiU).
