Amphictyon

In the Greek Mythology, Amphictyon (in Greek old Ἀμφικτύων / Amphiktýôn ) is the son of Deucalion and Pyrrha, and the brother of Hellen, Protogénie, Pandore and Thyia. According to other traditions, it passes for a indigenous (spontaneous child of the ground).

It is famous to have founded the Amphictyonie of Delphes. Close to the seat of the council amphictyonic with the remainder a temple (hérôon) with its glory was.
