Amorrite (language)
The amorrite is a Semitic Langue, spoken by the people amorrite, between the end of thousand-year-old IIIè and first half of thousand-year-old IIè front J. - C., in the Middle East, especially between the Highone and Syria of North.
No document writes in amorrite did not reach us, Amorrites writing in Akkadien. One knows it only by the analysis of the names of people or amorrites places, like by some terms or expressions which the akkadien borrowed to him. It shows through of these thin testimonys that the amorrite belonged to the west-Semitic group, and is thus to bring closer to the languages cananéennes and of Hebrew.
