Amora is a mark of Condiment S French.
History
In 1919, Armand Bizouard, descendant of a long line of manufacturers of mustard since François Naigeon, received Master-vinegar manufacturer in 1703, deposits the Amora mark at the clerk's office of the bankruptcy court of Dijon. But it does not use it and yields its company to Raymond Sachot in 1931.Meanwhile, the Amora mark is deposited with the the United States by the company Bloomingdale' S. When protection expires in 1934, Raymond Sachot deposits once again the mark and launches the marketing of Amora mustards in pots out of glass. Starting from the the Fifties, the company grows, extends its mark on the Vinaigrette S, Ketchup S, Mayonnaise S or Cornichon S and becomes the leader of the sector of the condiments in France.
In 2000, the mark is repurchased by the group Unilever.
