Amnion

The amnion , or amniotic bag , is the envelope which is constituted around the embryo of the Amniote S and which has as a role to protect it by maintaining around him an Amniotic liquid .
This amniotic bag is manufactured starting from the Ectoderme of the embryo, which makes amnion a embryonic Annexe.
The amnion protects the embryo from the shocks and dehydration. (vestige: Amniote, adaptation of the aquatic life to the terrestrial life.)
