Ammerschwihr is a common French, located in the department of the Haut-Rhin and the area Alsace.
Geography
Ammerschwihr is a small town located on the Wine trail of Alsace. Its economic main resources are due to the vine growing and in particular to its famous Kaefferkopf (hill producing of the grape of a great quality).
Place of rest in altitude, the locality of the Three-Ears (German Drei-Ähren) formed part for a third of the commune of Ammerschwihr, divided with Niedermorschwihr and Turckheim.
