Amistad is an American film carried out by Steven Spielberg, left in 1997.
A ship trading the Wood of ebony within the framework of the triangular Trade made Shipwreck on the ground of the United States, then in full awakening with the NORTH-SOUTH cleavage which will lead to the free trade advent of the legislation. The black slaves shipwrecked men of Amistad (name of the ship), whose destination was the plantations of the Caribbean and not the southernmost colonies of the United States, are locked up in a fort of the army.
