Amherst (New York)

Amherst is a city of the county of Erie located in the State of New York. It is in the north of Buffalo which is the administrative capital of the county. With the census of the year 2000, the city was populated of: 116150 inhabitants. Amherst owes its name with the English officer Jeffery Amherst.

The classification of the FBI was based on six categories of offenses: murder, rape, burgling, hold-up, physical aggressions and flight of cars.
