Amharique
The amharic (/amaregna) is the Semitic second Langue the most spoken in the world, after the Arab . He is spoken in Ethiopia by a great majority about the population, either as Native tongue or like language second or vehicular. He has in this country the statute of Official language.
Apart from Ethiopia, the amharique one is spoken by approximately 2,7 million people living in Egypt, Israel, or Sweden, like Érythrée by part of the population having known the period former to independence in 1993.
He is written normally using a Alphasyllabaire derived from the Guèze, the Ethiopian Alphasyllabaire.
History
The first texts written into amharic date from the 13th century.
Many followers of the Mouvement rastafari learn the amharique one that they regard as a crowned language.
