American association of sociology
The American Association of Sociologie (American Sociological Association, ASA) was founded in 1905. It is a non-profit organization devoted to advance of the discipline and profession by helping the sociologists in their work and by supporting their contributions to the company.
The ASA holds of the annual meetings and publishes several periodicals. With its 14.000 made up adhesions professors, students, researchers and experts, the ASA is the greatest professional association of sociologists in the world.
