American Shorthair
The Chat of the type American Shortair is a cat with hair short originating in the the United States recognized officially in 1904.
Standard
It is a cat médioligne, the males are sometimes more massive, the body is longer than high and the head longer than broad, the cheeks are full and the ears average, are drawn aside and with the points rounded, the eyes are large, the nose average length, the square muzzle and the jaws long and robust.
Temperament
American Shortair is affectionate, fairly active and emotive but not very aggressive, it is patient with the children and accepts the presence of a dog. It is a good cat of family.
