The American language of the signs ( ASL : American Sign Language ) is the principal Langue of the signs to the the United States, in the Canada English (LSQ being dominant with the Quebec) and in part of the Mexico.

It is also used with the Filipino , Singapore, HongKong, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Bénin, Nigeria, Chad, Gabon, Democratic republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Mauritania, Kenya, Madagascar and with the Zimbabwe.

Only to the United States, the number of users of the American language of the signs turns around 500.000 to 2 million.
