American Bandstand
L´ American Bandstand (in French: " the American Kiosk "), at its beginnings named Bandstand , is an emission of American Télévision which was diffused under various versions of 1952 with 1989. It is known to have revealed many young talents, energy of Jerry Lee Lewis with Run DMC, but also of new styles of dance throughout these decades.
Its first local diffusion, was direct realized with the " B" studio; of WFIL-TV to Philadelphia the October 7th 1952, the emission was presented by Bob Horn, and Lee Stewart until in 1955. Tony Mammarella was the producer and Edward Yates the realizer.
The emission showed teenagers dancing on musics of the Hit-parade which were then interviewed by the presenter and delivered their opinions on this piece. One of the high-speed motorboats of the hit-parade was generally present during the emission to sing its last success. The presenter high-speed motorboat of the emission was Dick Clark, member elect many Emmy Award S.

The emission with receipt three Daytime Emmy Award S in 1982,1983 and 1988.
