The census in tax matter of 1412-1413, carried out on order of Charles III of Navarre, compared with that of 1551 of the men and the weapons which are in this kingdom of Navarre of in on this side the ports , reveals a demography in strong growth. The first indicates to Amendeuix the presence of 13 fires, the second of 40 fires (33 + 7 secondary fires). The same censuses raise 8 fires with Oneix in 1412-1413 against 17 (14 + 3 secondary fires) in 1551.
