Ambition is a Board game liftings, invented in 2003, by Mike Church, an American student and using a ordinary play of 52 charts. It created the play during its studies of mathematics to Budapest, in Hungary.

Ambition a of the followers in the United States, the Japan and in Hungary. The majority of the players of Ambition are students.

The goal of Ambition, is to obtain points, but to avoid the “strikes”, a form of penalty. A person who obtains three strikes loses the play. At this time, the sleeve is finished, and the player with the greatest total of points, gains.

Part of Ambition includes/understands ten handles, but the play can finish front. As in the play Queen of spades, each chart has a value: for example, the king of clubs is worth 13 points, the six of clover is worth 6 points, etc

The possible strategies with Ambition are complex, because there are several ways of obtaining points. Usually, in a sleeve, it is necessary to be second in the total of the points, because it nobody who has the most points made a strike, and does not gain any point for the sleeve. But, if a person piles up 57 points, that makes a “Slam”, because it is about a total difficult to obtain. A person who makes a slam does not take a strike.

Les rules of Ambition was not published yet in French, but only in English and Japanese. In March 2004, Ambition was published in the Japanese magazine Nikoli .

Official Rules for the Game off Ambition (English official rules of the play Ambition) was written by the inventor of the play, the March 23rd 2004.
