Amber Brkich Mariano

Born the August 11th 1978 with Pittsburgh, Croatian parents , Amber Brkich Mariano obtains a diploma " Bachelor off Arts" in Wesminster College of Pennsylvania, in New Wilmington, the north of Pittsburgh.

After having taken part in season 2 of , Amber crossed the country and took part in charitable actions. Immediately after the emission, it made the cover of Stuff Magazine. Amber was then recalled for Survivor All Stars (Survivor 8), where the first 7 seasons the outstanding figures clashed. Amber in addition gained the show, vis-a-vis Rob Mariano, its ally of the play with which it fell in love on the island, with 4 votes against 3.

The April 16th 2005, Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich married at the time of a private ceremony, with Atlantis Paradise Island, the the Bahamas. The American television channel programmed on May 24th, 2005 one evening special devoted to their marriage, joining together thus almost 10 million televiewers.

The Australian Outback

Amber took part in the second edition of Survivor, named Survivor: The Australian Outback. It belonged to the green team " Ogakor" , and quickly bound a strong friendship with Jerri Manthey, at the time of the play, thus allowing him to make an alliance with Colby Donaldson, Tina Wesson and Mitchell Olson. Alliance has made it possible to eliminate successively Kel Gleason and Maralyn Hershey, only Keith Famie having survived this alliance, while Mitchell Olson was returned to the house.

At the beginning of the reunification, Ogakor succeeded in the exploit to know that one of the member of the " Kucha" , Jeff Varner, had already received votes against him, which has made it possible the team to eliminate it. With followed Alicia Calaway, another member of Kucha. Whereas Elisabeth Hasselbeck was to be the next one, Cobli, Tina and Keith decided together to save it and eliminate Jerri, most solid allied of Amber, which was the next one eliminated, and finished in the sixth place.

As a member of the jury, Amber gave his vote for Colby, which had not voted for it at the time of its departure, however, Tina was large gaining of Survivor 2.

AlStars

Since Amber was a rather discrete personality in Survivor 2, its return in Survivor All Stars was a surprise for the American public. It landed in the red team of the " " Chapera" , a group including in particular Rob Mariano, Known Hawk, and Alicia Calaway, member also of the second season. As of the first episode of Survivor All Stars , Rob and Amber passed an alliance, Rob finding Amber particularly beautiful. The first council of the team arrived at the time of the fourth episode, where Rob C was eliminated.

At the time of the following episode, one of the three teams was dissolved, and Jenna Lewis and Rupert Boneham, respectively from seasons 1 and 7 arrived in the team of Chapera. This new team did not lose any of three following immunities, but Sue Hawk decided to give up however. At the time of the ninth episode, a change arrived, and all Chapera passed in the opposing team, except Amber, which found with all the ex-Mogo: Lex van den Berghe, Shii Ass Huang, Jerri Manthey and Kathy Vavrick-O' Brien. The tribe failed at the time of the play of immunity, and Rob called to Lex to protect Amber, and that it would protect it thereafter. At the time of the council, Jerri was eliminated.

At the time of the following episode, the two teams reunified themselves, and Lex was eliminated in spite of the promise from Rob. In the following episodes, the alliance of Rob and Amber, already ridge with Rupert and Jenna, was reinforced, while having also supports it of Alicia and Tom. Kathy was thus the next one eliminated, and then Alicia, because Shi Ann had obtained immunity, but at the time of the following episode it was eliminated. Tom finished fifth, eliminated by principal alliance between Amber, Rob, Jenna and Rupert, but however Tom left the particularly furious council, because Rob and Amber had made a new alliance with him, to eliminate Jenna.

At the time of the final square, Amber gained the play of immunity, and Rob and it succeeded in convincing Jenna to vote against her Rupert main ally. Then, Rob gained the play and chooses to take along with him Amber finally.

At the time of the votes of the final jury, the play of Rob and Amber was criticized, but however Amber thanks to the votes of Lex, Alicia, Shi Ann and Tom gained the million dollar planned for gaining, Rob finishing second thanks to the votes of Kathy, Jenna and Rupert.

During the examination of the votes on the tele plate, Amber had a tee-shirt " I coils Rob" , confirming that coils story to them started on the island had continued themselves even after the island. Before the examination of the votes, Rob required Amber in marriage, which it accepted.
