Ambacourt

Ambacourt is a common French, located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Its inhabitants is called Ambacurtiens.

Geography

The village is located at the northern end of the department of the Vosges to 4 km of its place chief of canton: Mirecourt. The village developed with hillside on left bank of the Madon. The bottom of the village is at an altitude of 259 meters while the top culminates with more than 280 meters. This situation in height makes it possible to the visitors to see it by far, giving the impression which it is nested in a bosky bower.

Thus wood, orchards and meadows surround the orchard offer a luxuriant vegetation which give to this space an impression of quietude and peace. Moreover the vegetation at the edge of Madon offers a particular environment, playing a true “space plug between the village and the road”

The old frame of the XIXe century is still quite present. Lorraine traditional houses, old laundrettes and fountains decorate the village.
