Amasya (province)

The province of Amasya is one of the 81 Province S (in Turkish: it , in the singular, and island in the plural) of the Turkey.

Its Turkish prefecture (: valiliği ) is in the éponyme city Amasya.

Geography

Its surface is of 5.690 km ².

Population

With the census of 2000, the province was populated of 359.265 inhabitants, that is to say a Population density of 65 hab. /km ².
