Amaroli

Amaroli is the name given in India to the practice which consists in drinking part of sound Urine to maintain its health or to look after itself. In occident it is called urinothérapie , or car-urine therapy .

History

This method is described in several texts vedic, of which Shivambu Kalpa Vidhi , a chapter of the Dalaï Tantra, text old Sanskrit 5000 years. In 106 verses (Sloka S), the Shiva god explains there to his Parvati partner all the benefits which one can withdraw from the practice of “the method of regeneration by the water of Shiva”. The Dalaï Tantra, allots even after a certain number of years of practice, clearly specified, magic capacities with this practice.

At the 20th century, the former Indian Prime Minister Morarji Desai was a burning defender of this method, Gandhi would have also practiced it throughout his life.
