Translation
Bengal gilded- My gilded Bengal, I love you
- Your skies, your air always make sing
- Like a flute my heart.
- In the month of Phagoun, O my mother,
- the perfume of your mango trees
- transports Me joy,
- Ah, what a giddiness!
- In the month of agrahan, O my mother,
- In the gilded fields,
- I saw soft smiles, all to be covered!
- Ah, which “antchal” of beauty, shades, affection
- And tenderness.
- you extended to the foot of the banians and along banks!
- O my mother, the words of your lips
- Are nectar with my ears!
- Ah, what a giddiness! ,
- If sadness, O my mother, throws her veil on your face,
- My eyes fills of tears!
- Your skies, your air always make sing
