Amagi (甘木市; - shi) was a city of Japan located in the Préfecture of Fukuoka.
The city existed of April 1st 1954 with the March 20th 2006. It amalgamated with Asakura and Haki to form the new town of Asakura.
In 2003, Amagi had a population of 42 ' 449 inhabitants, a density of 253,90 hab/km ² and a surface of 167,19 km ².
