Amadeo Carrizo
Amadeo Raúl Carrizo , born the June 12th 1926 with Santa Fe, in Argentinian, is old a Argentinian Footballeur, goalkeeper.
Called “Tarzán” because of its acrobatics and precursor in its manner of playing far from its goals (it was also one of the first guards to wear gloves), it inspired many goals South American like Hugo Gatti, Rene Higuita and Jose Luis Chilavert.
He played River Punt during years 1950 and 60. He cotoyé players like Jose Manuel Moreno, Adolfo Pedernera, Ángel Labruna or Alfredo Di Stéfano. He gained five championships of Argentina in 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956 and 1957.
He took part in the world cup 1958 with the Argentinian selection, boxing six goals at the time of the match against the Czechoslovakia (1-6).
In 1968, after 513 matches of the first Argentinian division, Carrizo decided to finish its career in Colombia, with the Millonarios of Bogota.
