Amacha

The Amacha (jap. 甘茶) is a Japanese Infusion , created starting from crushed sheets of Hortensia.

This “the” contains Tannin and Dulcine, a sweetening substance nearly 250 times more sweetening that the Sucre, from where its name of Amacha , which translates means the sweetened . The Infusion does not contain on the other hand a Théine. It would have medicinal capacities, as a product antiallergic natural, like means of defense against the Parodontite.

This the is often used at the time of the masses Kanbutsue, the festival celebrating the Anniversaire of Buddha in the Japanese Bouddhisme, the April 8th.
