Aménémès II

Amenemhat (-1929 with -1895) is the son of Sésostris {{Ier}} and grandson of Amenemhat {{Ier}}.

After the reign shining of his/her father, lasting which the legitimacy of the dynasty was firmly established, Amenemhat especially seems to manage the prosperity and the found power of the Egypt. The economy of Egypt is then stimulated by a policy of active commercial exchanges between the foreign valley and countries (Byblos, Palestine, Mésopotamie, Cyprus and Crete, Pays of Pount). During this peaceful reign, Egypt consolidates the possessions Nubie acquired by Sésostris 1st.

Amenemhat is made build its pyramid with Dashour, between Licht and Saqqarah.
