Amélie Elisabeth de Hanau-Münzenberg
Amélie Elisabeth de Hanau-Münzenberg ( Amalia Elisabeth von Hanau-Münzenberg ), born the January 29th 1602, dead the August 8th 1651, was, of its own boss, countess of Hanau-Münzenberg ( Gräfin von Hanau-Münzenberg ), of 1612 with 1651 and, by marriage, “landgravine” of Hesse-Cassel, 1632 with 1637.
She was the oldest daughter of Philippe-Louis II (1576 - 1612), count de Hanau-Münzenberg (1580-1612), and of Katharina Belgica of Orange-Nassau (1578 - 1648) (itself girl of Guillaume Silent the and Charlotte de Montpensier).
In 1619, it married Guillaume V (1602-1637), future landgrave of Hesse-Cassel (1632-1637), wire of Maurice (1572-1632), landgrave of Hesse-Cassel (1592-1632), and Agnès de Solms-Laubach (1578-1602).
From its union with the landgrave of Hesse-Cassel were born 14 children, among whom:
- Elisabeth de Hesse-Cassel (1623-1683)
- Emilie de Hesse-Cassel (1626-1693), X 1648 Henri Charles of Trémoille (1620-1672), duke of Thouars
- Charlotte de Hesse-Cassel (1627-1686), X 1650 Charles Louis Ier: (1617-1680), Count Palatine of the Rhine, wire of Frederic V of Palatinat and small son of Louise-Juliana of Orange-Nassau.
- Guillaume VI (1629-1663), landgrave of Hesse-Cassel (1637-1663), X 1649 Hedwige Sophie de Hohenzollern (1623-1683) girl of Georges Guillaume Ier de Brandebourg.
