Aly Keita
Aly Keita is a musician Mali in, born in 1969.
Resulting from the ethnos group malinké, Aly Keita is a Balafon ist, manufacturing itself his instruments.
Initiated by Georges Makinto, it is directed towards the Jazz. He played in particular with Pharoah Sanders, Joe Zawinul, Rhoda Scott and Camel Zekri.
He teaches the balaphon at the National institute and superior of arts and cultural activity (INSAAC) with Abidjan (Ivory Coast), after having taught between 1989 and 1995 at the musical Training center and of promotion of Niamey (Niger). Aly Keita plays in the trio " ALY KEITA & magic balafon" with Hamid Gribi and Gert Kilian.
