Alvine Ailey American Dance Theater
The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is a company of Contemporary dance based with New York. It was founded in 1958 by the dancer and choreographer Afro-American Alvin Ailey, deceased in 1989.
It is Judith Jamison who succeeded to him as artistic director.
The troop came to Paris for the Summers from the dance, and gave 26 representations, and 50.000 spectators came in 3 weeks.
