Description of its course
After its exit of the Aluminated Lake, the river runs initially towards the east on a short distance, forming many rapids there. Quickly however, it is directed towards the south, thus skirting the edge of the Andes cordillera and receives on its line the emissary of the Lac Ñorquinco. It arrives shortly after at the town of Aluminé, that it does nothing but skirt Western side. The river receives right-sided or Westerner of many affluents well supplied with Andean precipitations and the snow melt. Among them, the emissary of the Lake Puillen, then that of the Lake Tromen called Río Malleo. A little later Aluminated Río joint its water with those of important the Río Chimehuin, emissary of the Lake Huechulafquen and forms with this last the Río Collón Curá. This last will constitute the major affluent of the Río Limay, connect-mother of the river Río Negro which will emerge in the Atlantic.
