Altimetric chart
A altimetric chart is a Carte which represents the variations of altitude of a surface compared to a surface of reference, generally plane.
On a chart of this type, the variations of altitude are represented by level line , curves closed which connect the of the same points altitude, supplemented by the indication of altitudes of the remarkable places (such as tops or funds of depressions).
The topographic charts are generally altimetric.
