Altan

Altan , of its true name Francesco Tullio-Altan , is an author of Cartoon Italy N, born the September 30th 1942.

Biography

Born in a family Italian Aristocrat, it passed its childhood to Trévise. It left the city to follow studies of architecture to Venice, then went to Rome to devote itself to the cinema. At the 28 years age (in 1970), there leave the Italy for the Brésil, and remain five years in South America where he discovers his two passions: its wife and the illustration. Draftsman humorist where it scratches the Italian company (trade unions, policy, Église, Mamas…) and corruption in Latin America fustigates, the birth of his/her Kika daughter makes him approach in parallel the albums for children.
