Altaïques languages
The altaïques languages are primarily spoken in Eurasia, of Europe of the East with Eastern Asia, while passing by the Central Asia; and owe their name with the Altaï, a Assembly line of Central Asia.

They share common characteristics:
- at the grammatical level, they are agglutinant languages: the syntactic functions are indicated individually by Affixe S which are bound in post-radical position with the lexical Morphème S.
- at the Phonetic level , presence of the vocalic phenomenon of Harmony: the vocalic diagram of the simple lexemes cannot comprise vowels which belong to two opposite classes (for example: former vowels and back vowels).
Certain linguists such as G. Clauson and G. Doerfer dispute today the relevance of this grouping. They do not see in the similarities between Turkish and Mongolian languages anything more than the fruit of mutual influences.
