Alsatic TV is a Television channel regional general practitioner French which covers the area of Alsace.

History of the chain

Gradually set up during 2006, the chain was inaugurated officially on September 25th 2006. It emits in loop 24 hours a day.

Alsatic TV is held by Alsace it Pays, the Breaking news of Alsace, the Racing Club of Strasbourg, the Group Coop-Alsace, the Savings bank of Alsace, Groupama, Sig Basket, Stacco and Mba/menscom. The last six shareholders returned to the capital on March 23rd, 2007 to the favor of a capital growth from 600.000 to 1,5 million euros open to the large Alsatian economic actors.

The budget is established to 1,6 million euros and investments of 600.000 euros for the material. It is awaited 800.000 euro of advertizing revenues since 2007.

Personnel

The team is made up in September 2006 of a score the permanent ones including twelve journalists. Three journalists are installed in the buildings of Alsace it Pays with Mulhouse and three others in those of the Breaking news of Alsace to Strasbourg.

Programs

Alsatic TV produces each day 12 minutes a regional newspaper of information as well as about fifteen magazines, of which Question of actu (12 min), and local reports which are repeated on several occasions. The chain carries out the essence of its emissions on the ground, closest to the televiewers. It also diffuses sports events as well as spectacles (music, theater) thanks to a numerical bus governed with 5 cameras.
